27th of December | 2023 :Hello! Happy holidays! We're almost done with the year! I think this will be the last journal entry of this year, so I'll be archiving this page somewhere later. I think this year has been the most busy I've had in a while lol, I managed to open commissions more times than in past years, which I-m glad about but I think this hasn-t allowed me to do as much fan art as I used to? although maybe I should just try to respect more my own pace and also free time lol But anyways, I'll talk first briefly about commission topic so far and then I want to talk about my Sonic fan comic that has recently finished! Still don't have a definitive date to open them on January, I still have to plan my year as I mentioned in last Journal entry, but I'll be sure to let you all know when I have a new date! I'm almost done with December's batch, there's a few sketch pages to get into but they're almost all done I opened my Ko-fi shop this month as well! and I sold one notebook! And since one of my new years resolutions for 2023 was to open the shop and sell something, I consider this goal acomplished! I'll be working next year in enabling international shipping for sure! and I want to update the items as well, sell some more notebooks I have and sell prints and stickers as well! ๐ Talk about this fan comic that I've been working on since 2015 I believe and now, finally, it's officially finished! I also managed to upload it here and I'm super happy about all of this! If you allow me to ramble, I have to say that various times I had thought of giving up, specially near the beginning of the comic, I remember feeling like I was just doing it for what others would think, as in the bottom I wanted their approval lol And while I still hoped people would like it and it made me really happy when it did, I tried to mainly do it for myself, as I wanted to carry this story to it's end as a personal acomplishment for sorts, so I'm really glad I did it! For unused stuff, I considered at some point to make Eggman have a sort of helmet to mind control his own machines, as that would be the kind of thing he had to fight the Zeti. His argument being that his mind is much more powerful than the ones from the Zeti lol also this would have been what is driving off the other Zeti to the Lost Hexm then he'd get a big headache and would leave, so that way he wouldn't go to attack Sonic and Tails as well. I also wanted to have Zavok use his dragon mech to attack Sonic, but thought I was making the Sonic section of their fight too long so I scrapped that. I also in the very early stages of this idea, I was thinking on Sonic and Tails going to the city with their ages swapped, lol just so other characters would either react or interact with them like that, I wanted Shadow to give Sonic some cookies I rememebr lol but yeah that's scrapped too, I don't remember how I was going to connect that to what I had already planned at that point. But yeah, I think as for some things I learned about making comics that I could conclude, for next time I make fan comics, I'll absolutely try to have the dialogue more planned up before I start drawing and also add the dialogues during the sketch phase, because I didn't do that as much while working on this, and it definitely affected a bit the layout of the bubbles lol Also I think in order to upload a comic that is pretty long at a more regular pace, it would help to finish at least one or 2 chapters before posting them online ๐ค not sure but I don't like to make people wait too long for each update like the way I did it, even though I tried going at my own pace, I admit that people asking when the next update was up made me anxious ๐ . I remember once someone told me that 2 splatfests had passed since last update at the time. ๐คฃ But yeah, that's it for now, thank you very much everyone for all the kind comments, the support and patience in general, I hope next year is a better one for everyone!  |
05th of December | 2023 :Hello! It's finally December, time really flies! Recently I've been so busy though, I don't know if I feel it passing by too slow or too fast lol but anyways... I'm opening the last batch of Ko-fi commissions for this year on December 8th! that is to say this Friday! I say it's the last batch, as I think I most likely won't be able to open more before the month ends I'll try to have more than 5 slots for the chibis as well! 
Also I'm trying to have things ready to open a shop at Ko-fi, this week I'll be getting the shipping boxes and probably be getting things ready to open it, although I gotta say, I'll most likely only sell stuff inside my country (Chile) for now, if everything goes well next time I open it I'll try my best to sell things outside too! I'll be taking a 2 week offline break starting next year to start planning up things and rest, I know I took a break on October but I think these recent months so far have been pretty stressing already, so I think I could use to take the beginning of the next year for myself and also rest off from the internet. ๐ I can't say for sure yet what I'll do for next year yet, because I have to actually reflect well about that but I have a couple of ideas, one that I can say is that I would like to work more on my shop and see if I can sell more things like prints or stickers. I also gotta learn how to drive lol, the idea still scares me but I think is necesary at this point in my life. Oh boy! I'm almost done!! all pages have been fully colored, and currently only 8 pages left to finish the dialogue! I'm hoping to release all the remaining pages on December 25th! I'm honestly pretty exited and also anxious lol A few weeks ago, I had a very worring problem with my computer, the windows, tabs and web pages kept crashing and never loaded, some blinking happened too and I even got a bunch of blue screens due to that, my brother made revisions, we made sure it wasn't any virus, in the end the problem seemed to be from Firefox??? I mean because I'm now using Chrome again, and nothing like that has happened again in any case I bought myself a laptop, just in case something goes wrong again with my pc or for any reason I can't use it or I am far away from home, it's convenient, I've been needing this for a while I guess lol I'm also thinking on investing on a new graphic tablet, the one I have works fine but the surface has started to feel kinda uhh...what's the word...s not so smooth? Also I think it would be kinda cool to have one with screen lol I'll have to look for recommended models and such But yeah that's all for now! Hope you have a nice December!  |
12th of November | 2023 :Hello! Here's a new journal entry, this time is a bit short, I opened ko-fi commissions on Friday like I had said, thank you very much everyone who supported me on Ko-fi with that! Everthing went well, except for that in Twitter I had trouble updating my name, I thought that could be useful to advertize some slots through there, but there it was a point Twitter didn't let me change it anymore ๐ it was very frustrating but I managed to change it to normal yesterday So yeah, Iยดll be starting working on the chibis and sketch pages this upcoming week, I'm hoping to finish these soon so I can open them again! right away! It's going to be a busy week! But well, I also made some updates to the my website, I added new art, very happy with the new watercolor painting I did, I still need to work on cleaner line art on traditional, but still happy about it lol. I also added a small bulleting board on the index page, just to add "to do list" and a "bucket of ideas", there are some stuff I want to add to the site and I thought it was a good idea to let anyone coming by the things I would like to work on. In the To do list, are stuff I feel is needed here, like to add more thought into accesibility or a dark mode, the image modals in the gallery I think I need to do something so they have captions or descriptions available and all that on the ideas bucket is stuff that I'm not sure yet I'll be doing, but that I'd really like to work on, one of the ones I like a lot is the character pages, I've seen some very cool ones around, I think it would be neat to have styled pages for my ocs hehe ๐. I also would like to maybe make a blog to talk about my succulents, as one of my hobbies, I think it would be kinda cool to have a page all green looking and about plants lol But yeah that's all for now! thanks for reading this if you did!  |
4th of November | 2023 :Hello! it's November and here's a new journal entry! So what's to come for these last months of the year, As mentioned before I'm planning on working on my Ko-fi for a bit, for starters I'll be opening Commissions there next Friday; November 10th! they'll be chibi and sketch pages commissions! there it will be 5 slots available for each listing! 
For fan comics, I have to make a list of all my ideas and figure out which ones I'll be going for first, but before I start with those, I have to finish Brotherhood's Twist! which, I mentioned on Twitter and Tumblr but I finished coloring all pages! now I just have to work on the dialogues and I think that's something I'll be doing this month as well, so very exited to bring this comic to an end at long last! Here's a blurry preview of the last pages! 
I guess I can also comment on what I did on my break, I watched Bocchi the Rock, and I loved it! it was very funny, I hope there's a second season someday! Also I'm watching Spy X Family season 2 and The Apothecary Diaries, not to shade on Spy X Family, I really enjoy it, but honestly the Apothecary one I'm enjoing the most, the plot and main character are really intriguing and entretaining to watch, I really want to watch more!!! also the animation so far it's very very pretty! And well I didn't play too many games lol, but I managed to finish Chicory, A colorful tale! I still have some post-game stuff to do, but I finished the main story, it was a very good game, I loved the coloring mechanics of the game, I also liked the story, very cute and relatable! Something funny that happened while I was playing, I got stuck between a house and some trees, there it was a very narrow part there that I just couldn't get out of, I tried everything I thought I could do, I also got my brother to join in Co-op, thinking that this would help but it didn't ๐คฃ and then we found out that you can teleport to the main zone of the game through the settings ๐ I guess the developers knew something like this would happen and well I'm glad! because I thought I'd have to restart the game and lose all my progress lol The timelapse of that room is kinda chaotic lol, I wonder if I can make it a GIF, the game seems to allow that, I'll edit this journal with that GIV if I'm able to make it lol now I'm playing Little Goodie two Shoes and so far it's been really good! it's a time and resources management game, with visual novel and horror elements to it, and there's romance as well! ๐ But yeah the art is beautiful! I'm very impressed how they managed this 90's anime style in some of the animations! I totally reccomend checking it out, I mean I haven't passed the second night yet but so far It's got a lot of charm and it's just super pretty to look at ๐ 
Ah also, I guess I didn't fully finish OC-tober prompts, I just had 3 left to do, but it's fine, I still enjoyed drawing my OCs on my sketchbook, at some point in the month I got myself some new markers and while the colors don't match the color on the outside of the pencil; some are a little darker than what that part says it is, I have been really enjoying coloring with them, I may get more colors someday, specially grey colors or shades of black lol ๐ But yeah, that for now! just getting ready to get back to work! Hello! so today I published the new Megaman fan art page, it's a bit of an asortment of Megaman fan art I've made through the years, not all of it but the ones I still like! Also I modified the way the grid galleries look, the thumbnails now look all the same size, it looks more uniform (the ccs in my codepen is on the normal looking style, not the halloween one lol)
And well I tried making a page for Commission art yesterday, I spent most of the day trying to arrange a filter by year, something I found on W3schools but I couldn't get it to work lol, I just couldn't figure out what it was that was making it no work on my codepen thing, because on W3schools it seemed to work just fine.
Regardless, thinking it better, it wasn't really that good of an idea, because through 2018 to this year, is too many drawings, and probably wouldn't have been a great idea to put all of them on 1 page alone, I'm thinking perhaps I could just make 1 page for each year instead, I at least put the buttons there, so the main part down the buttons could be featured work instead
Also; and I'm not sure if it's a good idea but it's just easier for me, I'm sourcing all my art from Tumblr and I hadn't put a lot of commission art there, and other older art as well, they used to be on Deviant art but I removed them all last year, so I made a sideblog on there were I'm posting all this old art, just for archiving purposes, so far I think I managed to put most commission art, but I'll probably be posting more old things I find in my computer
But well other than that, I've been doing a lot of thinking, mostly about what to do with my Ko-fi, besides Ko-fi Commisssions, I'd like to post fan-comics in there, maybe have some of them be early access? I'll have to make a list of comic ideas and other ideas of what to do with that next week, there's a bit of planning I want to do for starting next month XD
I've also been a bit stuck with the OC-tober prompts, I know what to do for Pond and I guess Short as well but since I had trouble thinking on the Surprise one, I got a bit behind, also I tried drawing Pond on the weekend and it didn't work, so I have to draw it again lol
I'm also going to be drawing a Sonictober prompt, the one for the 20th, it's called Rooftop, so I'm going to make it Spagonia themed! today I'll work on some digital sketches, so I don't waste paper on it, but I want to try to make it in traditional, if that doesn't work I'll have to finish the digital sketch lol but hopefully it turns out ok

It's Spooky month!!
And I'm on break finally! hehe, I managed to finish that last commission from that batch that I got on July, so now I'm trying to take my break, I feel much more relaxed now to be honest. ๐
I've been watching some anime that It's been long since I wanted to watch, Bocchi the Rock and Sugar Apple Fairy tale are the ones I've watched so far, but I also want to take a look at the Sailor Moon Crystal series now that it's finished, I think I also want to watch Ranking of Kings as well, Ah and Spy x Family season 2! it comes out on Sunday!
Also I have a backlog of games to play, I had a list of them but I lost it, my brother told me though, why do I have to put everything on a list, that I should just play whatever I feel like playing first, and well, he's got a point. I think I'd like to start with either Chicory or 9 Years of Shadows, I'm feeling pretty curious to play those or at least to start them lol I also want to finish the Cuphead DLC, the first Megaman X collection (still stuck in X3, the final boss is so difficult!) and I want to finish other more games, I'm probably not going to be able to finish these all this month, but that's ok, I want to play games more often anyways lol
For October Ink prompts, I'm using one called Oc-Tober, is more paused than doing it 1 each day, I already finished day one but I want to scan it later.
As for commissions, I've decided not to open the normal ones next month (I have people who have a slot saved so I'll get back to them still by the way), I want to use my Ko-fi more, So I may open Ko-fi commissions, and maybe do more fun stuff there, so I can have more time to work on other projects that I'm a part of. We'll see how that goes, I may still open them next year but I won't open comic pages and illustrations at the same time again , that was admitedly more than I could handle lol
As for the page ahh well! I modified the layout again! I know I keep changing it but it's honestly pretty fun to move things around, and since I played with the Gallery layout and I moved the buttons to the left, I thought I'd made all sidebars to the left and made it a bit wider so things fit in there better, I also edited my CCS in a way I can change colors more easily, I stacked a bunch of different boxes that had colors and borders in common, so when I change them they all change at the same time.
I'm very happy with how I changed the comic pages too, the summary and the pages boxes are separated, now looks more organized lol The scroll is now smooth too, you can click at previous journal entries and it will slide smoothly!
I also added more stuff to my About page, I felt it was a bit empty, so I filled it with some more stuff about myself, I think I should try to collect more stamps. But well I think after this update I'll try to add more art pages to the gallery!

Hiya! So it's already September! and here's a small update as well
About the site, I added a new page, one with some drawings of my original characters, the ones I like the most at least. I'd like to draw my characters more often eventually.
There's also some buttons there, one for Fan Art and one for Commission art, in the fan art one there's a little dropdown with more pages, these are still not available though! but I'll be working on those as well
I was considering adding a sketches page but since there's a lot of fan art I've made that are just sketches it may be redundant so I discarded it, still I won't be posting everything, I'd like to post mostly stuff I still really like lol
About commission progress, well I'm almost done with this batch! the commissions without background are all done, there's 1 with background to finish and I'm still working on the comic pages, I already finished one out of the 4 requests I got, and I'm halfway done with 2 requests, I'm hoping this week to at least finish one of them
I gotta say, I've been struggling a bit with motivation and energy lately, I can feel a bit burned out, so I'm really longing for that break I mentioned in a previous entry.
And well, I managed to make more notebooks, with the new printer I was able to print the covers and such, and with the new supplies I had gotten recently I managed to make them better than the first batch I made! so far I've made 2, (each one has a different design) but I haven't made more yet because I want to figure out how to ship stuff, and also I need shipping supplies lol
I don't plan on selling and shipping stuff outside my country and region yet though, but maybe as I get the handle of it I might! time will tell I guess!
ah I still need to sell the first batch as well, I've been wondering if I can improve them a bit, because compared to the new ones, they look quite bad lol

So Here's the new update! yaaay! as you can see the Journal was modified as well, I added some new boxes and the journal area is on the middle.The index page I experimented with it, and made it to be 2 sidebars, and I liked how it looked, however I feel like there's still stuff I could put around, regardless it feels a bit less empty
I also modified the gallery, I think it works better with all being a grid, I think I'm very happy with how it looks and it's pretty easy to update art now, I can put newest art at the top and it won't make the images get missmatched!
And I added a Commission page! I hope is easy to understand and navigate, right now commissions are closed, so the buttons to contact me are hidden by the moment, I do hope that when I open them again, the buttons actually work, I'll leave visible my e-mail around just in case they don't. the terms of services button does work, I made a google document with my current terms for both illustrations and comic pages as well.
And other than that, another update I can give, is that I finally got myself a printer! it took hours to get it to work fine, I'm hoping next time I use it it keeps working fine lol. I yesterday scanned some drawings, which I was very looking forward to do, and now I can keep making notebooks and hopefully also other kind of things like prints! ^_^
I also got myself new headphones, and new keyboard and mouse! (the mouse and keyboard came together) and they are all
lol, just thought I'd endulge in some cute stuff hehe
compared to the old one, this one is missing some stuff, I think because it's an English keyboard (doesn't have an ร although I can still use it if I change to the Latin American configuration lol) but I'll get used to it!

Hello! Ah I thought I'd write a status update for August here, I mean I usually do them on Tumblr, but I thought I would try making one here!
Well so about the current state of commissions so far, right, so on July I opened commissions, and I think I forgot to write a status update about how many I got and such, so well here's what I got:
From those, up until today, this is the progress I got:
I think the comic pages are taking a bit longer to make, since I think I focused a lot on the commissions without background first. I'm hoping that after the illustrations commissions are finished, I may be able to focus more on them, specially for the one with more pages.
Ah other than that, I'm thinking of taking a break after these are all finished, I am thinking on maybe focus on Ko-fi for a while, to maybe be able to dedicate more time to personal projects? not sure yet. but I want to try to take it easy for a bit after this.
Oh so yeah, this is my page on Neocities, for anyone that comes from Tumblr or Twitter! I don't have much yet, and there's still a lot I have to learn to make this place less empty and better looking, but I hope you enjoy your stay if you decided to look around!
Oh also, about the Gallery page, specially the art of this year so far, there's 2 more arts I haven't put here yet, but the things is that the slides I need to re-number every picture each time I put new images, at least that's the solution I found to the problem of them getting mismatched if I just put them just like that. so I thought on maybe updating that gallery at the end of each month, that way if there's a big update at least it will be worth the time...
Although I've thought on putting the early months at the top and the lattest ones at the bottom, that way if I put more art, at least I won't have to do the number thing all over again for all images ๐ , I think it's either that or maybe I just must find another way to display the images lol.
Ah about the thing I talked on my other Journal entry, about selling my notebooks, I didn't have luck either ๐ , so I'm thinking I should just try something else, maybe to open an online shop somewhere, I apparently can't on Etsy here on Chile, but I'll have to keep looking for that.

Ah This week has been pretty messy! I think I was putting too many tasks for me to acomplish on so little time, and I simply couldn't with everything. Not that I didn't make any progress, I still managed to finish a bunch of Commissions, but there were projects I couldn't work because I proritized something and took longer than expected.
That said, I know I shouldn't be on a hurry, people tend to be super patient with me which I'm very grateful for, but also I really like to keep productive and make a lot of progress on the things I set myself to do lol. Just to help visualize it, besides commission work, I'm also working on other projects that are more or less long term stuff, and I felt bad not being able to work on them as constantly as I wished ๐
But well, still I figured that maybe I should dedicate certain days to 1 or 2 specific projects, that way can still make a lot of progress on said things while not stressing myself up trying to reach a not very reasonable goal. I'll have to try to see if that works!
Another topic I would like to just write about, This year I've been working on notebooks and I'd like to make stickers and things like that as well, I finished around 8 but I haven't had luck selling them on Facebook. Since these are the first ones I made, I wasn't confident about selling them online outside the country, so I thought I'd sell them here in Chile first, I'm planning on going outside my house tomorrow since there's a market (where people sell veggies and fruit on outdoors, there's a park where people do that) so I'm hoping someone will take interest on buying some ๐
I've also needed to get myself a new printer so I can start making more, this has been on a bit on a pause because of the lack of ink and also our printer is kinda old, so not only finding ink for it is kinda hard, it drains it super fast. so a new one would be much better and economic at this point (I think?)
So yea, really hoping to sell some notebooks tomorrow and hoping next week I manage to have a more organized schedule ๐
Yay! managed to add a journal page! I've been trying to get more pages ready as I learn more about coding, I'm super happy with the progress so far, it's been honestly super fun.
I'm still figuring out about Javascript, specially for setting up a gallery here, the slideshow looked pretty useful for that, but then I realized that it was not very efficient when it's too many pictures, I think it would be better a grid gallery or something like that. so definitely will be trying again to apply modals.
Other than that, I've been working on commissions, both comic pages and illustrations, it's been a bit chaotic between this and commissions, I haven't done too much fan art work lately, just a bunch of sketches but I'm hoping once I'm a bit more free from work, I'll go nuts over fan art! XD
But well, still thinking on what else to use this for. I don't plan on writing anything too personal here, just about arts and crafts, or about stuff I've learned or places I went to, stuff like that.
I normally write status updates on my tumblr, I wonder if I should start doing that here, perhaps it would take but longer in getting done lol and maybe would be a tad hard to find each journal entry, so maybe I should leave Tumblr for those status updates, specially regarding commission progress.
I wonder if there is a way I can link them up here? as a little window to them. ๐ค Oh I can put emojis here! look at that! ๐ may use them more often then lol.
