June 2nd | 2024 :Hello! June is here! And here's a small life update for this new journal entry, also happy pride month everyone! 🏳🌈 I already made an update regarding commission progress and my ko-fi shop shipping dates in my Tumblr blog, I figured since it's more important stuff it was best to put it on a place that was more accessible to read than in Neocities, tumblr is phone friendly after all I have tried to make my page more phone friendly but dunno, has been a bit difficult lol But well I'm thinking on using these journals for more casual entries rather than related to commissions and my shop So life updates, Last month before my birthday I went to an illustration fair or market? one of those artist alley kinda things, and I bought a whole ton of illustrations! I'm supper happy with them all, I just need to find some frames for them, I woudn't want the papers to get damaged or something. 
I also got a Chilean manga called "ONE IRIC", made by Azalie, it was such a great story so far, this is volume 1 out of 3 and I'm really looking forward on reading the rest, it's a mystery/romance/comedy kinda story and it's pretty well done! I may talk more about it on a singular post some time. 
Then that week I sent the first batch of orders from the shop and in the weekend I got pretty sick, I had to stay in bed for a few days, so I mostly was able to do little work in my bed through my laptop. 😅 I got better of course but a lot of the work I had to do got delayed, mainly the sketch commissions, so this month I'll be taking care of those. This past week though, I bought myself a display tablet! this is something I've planned for a long time so finally got to have this, and it arrived last Thursday, it has been pretty interesting to start drawing on this, but I should definitely be more mindful of the ergonomy when drawing on this hehe 
I finished a comic page commission with it and it turned out quite alright! I'm super happy with the result! but well about the page, I had paused a bit in updaring art here mostly because I've been very busy lol but today I added some more pieces here, not all I've recently drawn though, some are sketches on my sketchbook; those are at my tumblr and some are chibi commissions and sketch pages; those are on my Ko-fi page. And well yeah that's all for now, have a nice June! Hope it's a kind one!🌈

6 of May | 2024 :Hello everyone! so May is here, and there's a bunch of stuff I'll have to work in this month! 🌼 About Commissions: When it comes to commissions, I'll be working on the second half of the illustrations and now on the sketch pages! 🌱 Comic page commissions progress:
🌼 About my ko-fi shop: I opened it on the last day of April! and is still open! I'll be sending the first batch of orders that I get until this Thursday on Friday May 10th! 
Also! just a notice, shipping to other countries may take around 20 working days, so like around 3 full weeks? I know it may be a bit long but I'll try to keep every customer updated about the tracking progress as much as it's possible. I already printed all print orders I received so far, I'll be attentive to any new orders I get this week, but here they are separated by customer along with the notebooks and magnets. I'll be confirming your orders and info with you in private as well! 
I'll be also working on restocking the items that were sold out from the shop and hopefully add new items as well! I appreciate your patience and support! I'll do my best so that your orders get to you! and I hope your packages get to you alright! So I've been streaming recently! just on the ko-fi's chibi commissions, I couldn't finish them all during stream but it was still a fun experience. I'm going to try to keep it casual too, I plan on streaming again some of the sketch pages this month, maybe I could try some games with the time lol But yeah, other than that my birthday lwas yesterday, just wanted to say thank you all for the birthday wishes and presents! 🥰 I really appriate them! 7th of April | 2024 :Alright! Commissions are officially closed for now! Thank you everyone! I'll do my best in all your pieces! And well This time I got a lot of Sketch pages, I hadn't originally planned to open sketch pages this time around, but last time I opened very little slots and some people even had trouble sending their requests after they had finished writing it up 😅 so I'd thought I'd open some more slots this time around That said, given is a lot more than planned, next opening date; June 1st, I'll open less slots of those to give myself a break from the workload I received this month. Some progress updates: 🌼 I still gotta work on the comic pages commissionss I got from February, I'll post some status update about those:
🌼There's also one remaining sketch page from last batch, I'll be working on finishing that one next week! 🌼I already finished all illustration commissions from last month as well! so next is to focus on the new ones I got yesterday! A Side thought: I've been thinking on recording while I work on some of these commissions, as well as maybe trying to do a livestream ??? I'm not sure about that second one yet, I'll have to check what I need for that lol But I thought it may be fun and may help me a bit with productivity(?) also I'd have more stuff to put on my youtube channel lol Still nothing fully decided but in any case I'll be asking my customers if they are ok with me recording or streaming while I work on their pieces before anything if I decide to actually go through with that, I know some people may want to keep some of their ocs or ideas in private so I feel it's important to ask first. About my ko-fi shop: Turns out the cheapest courrier option in my city doesn't have availablity for international shipping 😓, and it's the only post office of that courrier company in my city, so I'd have to go to the next city to send stuff outside the country by the cheapest price I can find at the moment 🤔. which well that's an option I'm considering, I'd probably have to send all orders during one day of the week, but traveling there does make me lose time from working on commissions, unless I can do it once a month? not sure yet how I can do it, but I'm still figuring it out. Still I'd like to show at least a bit of what I'm planning to sell: 
besides the notebooks, there's also prints and some magnets! I haven't made too much magnets yet but if they sell well, I'll do more! So yeah, still thinking on the listings and the shipping arragements, but really eager to start selling these and get my shop working again. That's all for now! hope you have a nice April! ✨

29th of March | 2024 :Hello! So March is ending! it's been a long month for me, I've been pretty busy in general, and well I guess I couldn't really find time to get myself into driving classes. I'm thinking maybe at the end of the year I'll have more time though! so even if I wasn't able to acomplish that goal this month, I can do it later on. But well, so far I'v finish most illustration commissions! I just need to finish up one of those, and well this next week I'll be working on the remaining 3 sketch pages But yeah, I'm almost ready to open commissions again on Saturday April 6th! 
April 6th is the second commission opening date of the year! I'll open more chibi commissions on Ko-fi as well! Also I'll try to open some Sketch pages commissions as well, people really like of those and looks like only 4 slots for those is too little, there it were people having trouble submitting their requests 😅 But yeah, next Saturday, April 6th! I'll be opening Illustration, chibi and sketch pages commissions! I'll do my best as usual to catch everyone up! And well, another thing is that I made an update to the webpage! I still liked the tight look of the previous layout, but after looking athe profile pages of various artists on Sheezy art, I thought I could use to widen up the site layout a bit, and also put more images on the home page. I really miss old Deviant art's layout lol, so with my site I have been trying to capture that in a way? just with the widgets and such, I figured I could use the space a bit more with making things wider. I also added a banner! (or header image?) Ah but well yeah, recently I've been a bit stressed about trying to handle so much social medias, there are times were I'm not sure were to post what lol 😆 I feel like it should be simple regardless, just post all everywere but it's tedious! there's so many sites! And sometimes I don't feel like posting the sketches everywere, but I've also posted some wips on Tumblr and Twitter? so ah I dunno lol, it's a bit of a mess in my mind, I think I should try to limit social media activity anyways lol it's good for mental health 😆 And yeah, I formatted the Journal as a 2 column thing, looks kinda like a book now, right? lol, still not sure how I feel about it but it was a fun idea I thought of. 09th of March | 2024 :Hiya! Happy March! February has been pretty busy for me lol but I managed to get 4 illustration commissions finished out of 8, so there's 4 left for this month to finish! I already started working on the sketch pages, hopefully this next week I make more progresss on those as well, the idea is to finish all of these within this month, I'll do my best to make as much progress as I can next week!. and well I made some updates to the site again! this time I made a Journal hub thing, so I can separate last year journal from the current one, like the link to last year's journal was in the current journal and didn't look so clean like that, and I also wanted to make some other journal topics, like for plants and another one for outings and food. 
the plants one will be just for me rambling about plants in general, succulents, flowers trees etc, I still gotta figure out the look of it, I've thought of designing it from scratch and not use the current layout I have for all the pages. 
and the other one I haven't yet started working on it, but it's to talk about places I've been to and about food, I think I have mentioned before but I'd like to go out more often this year, and specially to visit cafes, just thought it would be fun to talk about that here if I can. but yeah I still gotta work on the design. I may try to work on some sketches of that. Something that's got me just a little uneasy recently I feel like I need to think better of what kind of drawings I post between all the social medias I have, because as it is now feels a bit sporadic, like I post stuff in Tumblr, Twitter, Bluesky, Instagram, Inkblot and also here, and in Tumblr specially I post sketches, not always on Twitter or Bluesky or Inkblot. what I mean is I think I need to reorganize what I post on each of these sites lol. maybe it's a thing about too many socials to take care of feels a bit overwhelming lol. I think also been thinking about this because Tumblr decided to sell info to AI stuff, on which I had to opt out, similar to what happened in Deviant art some years ago, but I don't plan on leaving Tumblr or erasing my account. I have just so much stuff there, and while I don't regret leaving Deviant art now, the process of erasing everything was honestly almost physically painful lol, I recognoize was probably a bit of a kneejerk reaction from my part at the time, so don't want to go through that again 😅 Anyhow, I was thinking on what other sites there is to post art that feel safe for artists, you know? like no NFTs or AI pictures, so far I think Inkblot, Artfol and Sheezy art seem VERY promising, I thought I'd give them a bit of a shout out
and well there's Neocities too lol, it's a bit tedious to put art here I gotta admit, but I still would like to keep this site as main gallery of sorts. I've been thinking on what to do with sketches which I don't always put here, maybe I could put a gallery just for sketches someday? dunno. but gotta think about that. I've also thought of designing a whole new layout for the site, I like the current one but I want it to look a little more professional, if people who buy stuff from me in the future visit this website, I think it would be important that it looks more profesional, also it's fun to design layouts lol but well yeah, that's all for now! be careful out there, remember to take rests from Social Media and have proper sleep hours and hydrate yourself!  |
25th of February | 2024 :Hiya! a bit of a late entry into the month! but after I opened commissions at the begining of it I got really busy 😅 But well how are Commissions doing?, mostly fine! let me make a short summary of them: I received 8 requests in total.
3 comic page commissions requested, I have started to work on 2 of multipage requests I have yet to start the one wich one page! All Chibi commissions are finished, now I can focus on the sketch pages! This month went by quite fast but I'll do my best to finish all remaining Illustration and sketch page commissions within next month so in April I can open commissions again without too much pending works Comic pages commissions won't be open again until I'm done with this batch of pages, since I'm allowing myself to have the openings be more irregular, so these may take a little longer in being done. Another thing I wanted to bring up, I think I won't be able to open my shop this month, I still have to figure out some stuff about sending things outside the country and I gotta make more things, and I hadn't had much time this month for that, so I'm hoping to get a more free weekend for it next month at least lol. On another topics, I'm planning on getting into driving classes next month, I'm feeling a bit anxious about that, I hope it doesn't take too much time away from commission work, but considering it could, I'm thinking maybe I could start doing that on April instead so I can have more time to finish the remaining commissions with more peace lol, dunno just yet, I'll have to see. And well! about the site, so Discord did a thing that anything I outsourced from them doesn't work anymore on other sites, it so happens I had a bunch of images here that I outsourced from a discord channel, so today I focused a bit on restoring all of that, I made myself an imgur account to store some assets, I think I should have done that from before though lol. I also changed some stuff around, nothing too big but I hope it looks nice! I think recently as well, I've been watching a lot of anime, I'll list them up lol
Lol it't quite a lot more than I used to watch but all of these have been pretty fun so far, I think I wish animation quality was better in Surgeon Elise, and the weakest tamer is been surprisingly good so far! and well I think my favorites from these at the moment are The Apothecary Diaries and Delicious in Dungeon. 15th of January | 2024 :Hello! Happy new year! Let's start this year with a lot of optimism and energy! I finished my break, I think I really needed a more relaxed pace of living for a while because this year will be busy! And well, I'll talk about my plans for this year now:
Although, please keep in mind that if for any reason I can't open commissions on these dates, I'll let you know! I made plans on opening Illustration commissions each 2 months this year, starting February. I want to keep the rest of January more simple with other tasks I have but also I'll be going camping between this week and the next one, so it may be for the best to open them on February anyways So yeah, I'd like to open commissions each 2 months starting February finishing on November as I don't want December to be more stressful than it already tends to be lol This line of commissions will be more irregular as I already have planned a workload with the illustrations, I think I'm still not ready for this one to be so constant, I guess it may depend if I'm done with comic pages batch or if my plate is too full to take on more commissions like this kind. As shown I'd like to open for some few slots every time I open the illustration commissions, may not be too many as I'll be full of the illustrations ones, but I want to keep a flow going in there I'll close it for a while these last 2 weeks of January, but I'll open it again on February! I want to add new things like Prints and maybe stickers, I gotta also plan shipping prices and rates! I'll try to keep it open as much as I can during the year as well, and also I think in December I'll focus a lot on the shop rather than commission work, given the kind of season it is it may be good I guess, hopefully when I get there I'll have a lot to sell 😆 And I think that's it for now regarding commissions, it does feel like a lot to tackle, but I'll try to take rests and respect my own boundaries more when it comes to social, creative and work energy this year, during my break I learned a bit about those so I want to be more mindful of them Ah now that Brotherhood's Twist is finished, I have a few options on what to do now, I've been thinking on finally dedicating more time to my own OCs and finally start working on their stories. 
I still have a lot to define on story and characters but I'm looking foward to keep working on them! and I'd like to make character pages here in Neocities 😆 But well, here's to a productive and fruitful new year! I hope everything we all have in mind for it works out and pays off but also let's not forget to have a good time!  |
